Corporate : Hicham Abdessamad

As senior vice president of Global Services, Hicham Abdessamad leads Hitachi Data Systems worldwide professional services and customer support organizations, overseeing the strategic direction and execution of the services and support strategy and ensuring a seamless customer experience. His responsibilities includes overall Solutions Strategy, Services Development, Engineering and Integration as well as ensuring consistency, efficiency in service delivery and support by adapting repeatable methodologies and proven best practices.

Before being named senior vice president, he served as vice president of Global Solution Services and before that as senior director of Hitachi Data Systems Global Software line of business.

Prior to joining Hitachi Data Systems, Abdessamad worked for EMC running that company's Global Practice for the Open Software division, where he was responsible for systems engineering, support and professional service for EMC's ControlCenter product suite. He was later appointed to be the Global Practice Manager for EMC's Information Management Software Division. He also worked at StorageNetworks, where he helped pioneer the Storage Service Provider model and played a key role in transforming the company into a software and services company.

Hicham Abdessamad holds a BS Degree in Computer Engineering from Suffolk University.
