Corporate : Kevin Eggleston

Kevin Eggleston is the senior vice president and general manager, Asia Pacific, Hitachi Data Systems.

Eggleston is responsible for providing regional sales direction and leadership throughout the Asia Pacific region, driving growth and the expansion of the company’s revenue and market share throughout the region.

Eggleston was promoted to his current position in 2009. He joined Hitachi Data Systems in 2005 as Western Region vice president in the company’s United States region. He oversaw sales in a 20-state region and was credited with leading revenue growth and significant market share gains.

A seasoned professional of the storage industry with over 30 years of experience, Eggleston spent 24 years at StorageTek; 12 years in the U.S. field in sales, sales management and branch management positions; and 12 years in international field positions including managing Latin America and StorageTek's Asia South Pacific region. He also managed U.S. and international regions for two and one-half years at BlueArc.

Eggleston holds a bachelors degree in International Business from the University of Colorado. He is based in Hong Kong.
